During a meeting with archaeologist Joanna Borowska, we will visit many fascinating sites and discover the historical and cultural heritage of this land. Among other places, we will journey to the sacred Ślęża Mountain, shrouded in mystery and venerated as early as the Bronze and Iron Ages, explore underground secret tunnels, and visit former gold and uranium mines. We will also see how copper is currently extracted and smelted.
Additionally, participants will learn: Where is the only underground waterfall in the country? Are the searchers for the Golden Train close to discovering it? What connected Napoleon to the mine in Złoty Stok? Which city was once called Frankenstein? And what secrets lie within the underground passages of Książ Castle?
