A glowing green tree. The image shows a tree at night, with golden sparks flying around it. It looks like a magical tree.

What Does the Willow Sing? What Does the Oak Whisper? Ochota’s Tree Stories

Stories from Ochota

Autumn paints the leaves yellow, red, gold, and orange. The trees dress up in wonderful, colorful gowns, and soft carpets of leaves and shiny chestnuts appear in the parks

It’s at this time that it’s easier to hear them – the trees. To peek into their hollows, to listen to their song, their rustle, the stories they hold in their roots and branches. Stories both old and brand new.

Ochota is full of trees – in Szczęśliwicki Park, the Park of Five Sisters, or Maharaja’s Square. On this day, we will set off together on a walk of imagination, listening, whispering, and discovering what the willow sings about and what the oak whispers…

Told by: Roksana Pietruczanis, Mirella Gliwińska, Renata Banasińska – storytellers from Group 501
